NRPC's traffic count data map covers every count collected by NRPC from 1991 through 2014. Most volumes represent raw 24-hour weekday (Mon-Fri) averages and are not adjusted for season or vehicle mix. In most cases we can provide this adjusted data, as well as weekend totals and hour-by-hour breakdowns upon request.
Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Projects:
The TIP is a four-year work program that lists all regionally significant and federally funded projects, as required by federal transportation legislation. The TIP contains an agreed-upon list of specific transportation improvement projects and associated financial information for the Nashua Regional Planning Commission (NRPC) Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO).
The Long-Range Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) Projects:
The MTP is a comprehensive, multimodal “blueprint” for transportation systems and services aimed at both meeting the mobility needs and improving the overall quality of life of residents in the region through the next 25 years. It addresses areas or components of the transportation network that are expected to be deficient and in need of improvement by the outer years of the planning timeframe. The projects in the long term transportation needs section are the pool of projects that NRPC might choose from when looking for projects to add to the State’s Ten Year Plan or TIP. The projects and long term needs have been reviewed by the NRPC Transportation Technical Advisory Committee (TTAC) and are endorsed by the TTAC and the NRPC Commissioners.
