Medications must stay in their original container.

Please do not remove labels.

You may cross off personal information (ex. your name, phone #, doctor's name), but please leave the medication name, dosage, and all other information pertaining to the medication itself.

All medicine will be sent to a hazardous waste facility for secure incineration. No medicines will be re-used or re-sold.

Medications that are flushed down the drain contaminate the water, which impacts fish, wildlife, and our drinking water supply. Studies have found the presence of pharmaceuticals throughout our water bodies. In addition to causing environmental harm, medications that are thrown away in the trash could be stolen and used, potentially injuring or killling the user.
