The USGBC is a non-profit organization committed to expanding sustainable building practices.  Its Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System™ encourages and accelerates global adoption of sustainable green building and development practices through the creation and implementation of universally understood and accepted tools and performance criteria.

Low Impact Development Center
The LID Center is a non-profit dedicated to the advancement of Low Impact Development (LID) technology.  LID is a new, comprehensive land planning and engineering design approach with a goal of maintaining and enhancing the pre-development hydrologic regime of urban and developing watersheds.

Boquet River Association
The Boquet River Association conducted an inventory of areas along the river with insufficient vegetation to control runoff pollution or to inhibit streambank erosion. The study prioritized those areas most in need of vegetation and determined the best measures for restoring vegetation to those parcels. The site explains their methodology and results.
