One of the most exciting programs for CTAP communities is the Local Government Discretionary Account.  The Discretionary Account provides local governments with up to $15,000 to undertake a project that addresses an immediate concern to their community and helps to achieve CTAP goals.  Goals for the CTAP region were developed with input from member communities and other participating organizations during Strategic Planning exercises.  They are broad in scope, ranging from the promotion of economic vitality and business development to the protection of rural working landscapes and vibrant communities.

Four of the State’s Regional Planning Commissions will work with their member communities to help define Discretionary Account projects and complete the application process.  Of the 26 communities most directly influenced by the I-93 corridor reconstruction, 3 are in the Nashua Region: Hudson, Litchfield, and Pelham
