The City of Nashua has entered into a contract with NRPC to manage the engineering and design phase of the widening of NH 101 A from Celina Avenue to Somerset Parkway in Nashua. The RFP procurement process began in November of 2005 and a contract was signed between the City of Nashua and McFarland-Johnson Inc. Since this time, the Nashua Regional Planning Commission has worked closely with the City of Nashua and McFarland-Johnson to manage the engineering and design and environmental elements of the widening.
A public process was conducted to obtain input from landowners, residents and travelers of the corridor culminating in an official public hearing scheduled for August 18th, 2008. The final products include an engineering report, and preliminary design plans as well as an environmental report in support of a Categorical Exclusion. For more detailed information please review the documents found under Public Hearing Documents above.
